THE THIRTEEN are the first Hellhounds and, collectively, probably the oldest thing in existence aside from God and Abaddon itself (this is debated). Unlike the seraphim they were not really created with intention and purpose, and instead are a result of the chaotic energies of creation Abaddon was born with. These original Thirteen essentially formed themselves and their own purpose, to varying extents, and they all share a deep bond with Abaddon as a result, having almost grown and come into themselves together -- they refer to hell as mother, and think of her as such.
THE TWINS: KORRVAS'THAL, THE FIRST. WARDEN OF THE CELESTIAL VOID. RASALAF, THE SECOND. WARDEN OF THE TERRESTIAL VOID. THE VOID WARDENS or simply THE TWINS are inarguably the oldest creatures in the universe aside from God or Hell. The seraphim might have their arguments about the rest of the Thirteen, but there is no argument for this, and for all his titles Korr is often most simply referred to as The First. He was originally one but in the chaos of Hell's creation, some part of Korr split off, taking form as Ras. Ras is unstable and off as a result, and is seldom directly seen outside of his realm.
Idk what to call these or who they should be, these are v placeholder names bc "the third, of the first" is really confusing in a way that I don't like. but I like the idea of these three being very associated with the location of hell itself and being its most direct rulers, so I was trying to give em three like locations to be in charge of. this is mostly bc of the sixth warden. , THE THIRD. WARDEN OF THE FIRST CIRCLE. , THE FOURTH. WARDEN OF THE SECOND CIRCLE. , THE FIFTH. WARDEN OF THE THIRD CIRCLE.
bc since the sixth is temptation, whether it's saiph or whoever, I like the idea of him being the first one to move out of hell. "mankind's first challenge" is a cool thing, and then it follows that after him, the other hellhounds would've fucked with people in various ways, but the sixth was the gateway. they're probably all p close with each other too, some more than others? just bc of the way different sins and whatever tend to lead into each other and blend together. VELA, THE SIXTH. WARDEN OF TEMPTATION. , THE SEVENTH. , THE EIGHTH. BELIAL, THE NINTH. WARDEN OF OBSESSION. , THE TENTH. , THE ELEVENTH. , THE TWELFTH. , THE THIRTEENTH. idk man but the 13th should probably also be significant
ANYWAY B E L I A L aka "bel" sfasffs
"biblical" origins or what he was doing around creation times, after the sixth opened the pathway to the hearts of man, bel was like right there man humans were created to love god above all, and one way or another bel took a specific route away from god -- to love something else above god, a person, a thing, a concept, themselves. is of course quite happy to be the object of obsession. possibly was, at least at first in the beginning-times? kinda want him to have had a role in biblical shit ican point to possibilities being: sodom/gomorrah or one of the other cities of the plain everyone forgets about (Segor, Admah, Zeboim), Aaron (dude who sort-of-led the making of a golden idol after Moses went up a mountain), joseph (apparently joseph was really really really hot esp according to islam)
his demons: idk its hard for smth that inspires obsession to be unique from something that inspires just temptation, gotta think about it more but really ttemptation is the gateway to sins, and obsession is something that uh strengthens them, so maybe they're both like support classes to the other sins somehow idk I like the idea of smth shadowy maybe bc it kind of inspires stalker imagery????
where he be: idk black holes?? maybe?? that draw in everything around them, steadily but without fail
personality-wise, well laid-back and relaxed at least on first impression, but he can get very, very intense confident, full of himself, charming, manipulative, charismatic idk I would like him to be a bit different maybe but its hard for Demons to not fall into that archetype unless they're like the angry sort and bel def wouldn't be the angry sort a little rough around the edges, but generally smooth, well-spoken, refined just kind of delights in seeing people fall into things so deep they can't get out and further delights in causing thaat like most hellhounds/demons probably sees what he does as more of the humans' own fault than anything, as all he ever does is give them what they want or in some ways genuinely sees himself as doing a favor for them. god made them to be obsessed with god, and really bel's just giving them some variety and freedom of choice in the matter bel himself can and has been obsessive, which is the main source of his occasional visits to earth. something catches his eye and he must have it, though he'll play with them for a while. idk what exactly, maybe some mortals or even some angels over the millenia of tiiime that he's ended up basically consuming one way or another
his thing is that he inspires obsession in people, whether it be over him or not. fixation on something to the point of isolation or abandonment of others. even minor obsessions are his doing, it is anything that causes someone to place anything above god or above themselves, he likes to say that it's love sometimes. but of course he does specialize in driving that to borderline unhealthy points. but it is his (true!) view that people these days place all sorts of things over god. like their dog.
HE SURE IS PRETTY just sorta how he came out I do like the idea of god being :o over how pretty he is being a thing probably something that makes him just that bit more confident and it sure is a thing to pin on your belt, but I don’t want him to be… Pride, pride is different, he can just you know be proud without being pride
idk how present hr was during The War im not sure how present any of them were during the war, aside from korr's direct involvement still thinking of him being the hellhound that saiph made a deal with/what killed kiyoung's dad, but treachery probably works better for that than obsession, probably but it could've been an element of all the hellhounds really. maybe esp with kiyoung's dad the treachery hellhound was who really killed him but obsession could easily lead into those things with saiph, at some point of time some seed of an idea got in his head about combining heaven and hell and uoverthrowing the whole structure and trying to make smth Better, but he was still a seraph who is supposed to love god and something sure encouraged him to love his ambition more than he loved god for kiyoung's dad I always imagined that the deal he made was smth about keeping kiyoung and kiyoung's mom safe, and inspiring an obsession in some mortal is something he could also do HE'S LIKE FUCKED UP CUPID I GUESS

"biblical" origins or what he was doing around creation times, after the sixth opened the pathway to the hearts of man, bel was like right there man
humans were created to love god above all, and one way or another bel took a specific route away from god -- to love something else above god, a person, a thing, a concept, themselves.
is of course quite happy to be the object of obsession. possibly was, at least at first in the beginning-times?

black holes?? maybe?? that draw in everything around them, steadily but without fail
personality-wise, well
laid-back and relaxed at least on first impression, but he can get very, very intense
confident, full of himself, charming, manipulative, charismatic
